Post-doctoral researcher in Applied Mathematics
CNRS
Laboratoire de Mécanique, Modélisation & Procédés Propres
I am currently a postdoc at Laboratoire de Mécanique, Modélisation & Procédés Propres and for a time at Institut de Mathématiques de Marseille since 2024. Before that, I obtained my PhD in Applied Mathematics at Université Toulouse III-Paul Sabatier in 2023, cofunded by ONERA-The French Aerospace Lab. My PhD thesis is available here.
My research interests lie in mathematical and numerical modeling as well as scientific computing involving partial differential equations. I enjoy working in interaction with different scientific disciplines such as physics, engineering and mathematics, to help address modeling problems arising in the simulation of physics phenomena. Application domains that have motivated my work: edge plasma in tokamaks and gas discharge in air (PhD project).
Some topics that I have worked on:
asymptotic-preserving methods for anisotropic diffusion equations
discontinuous Galerkin (dG) method and hybridizable dG schemes
exponential schemes for convection-diffusion equations
variational inequalities/differential inclusions
finite volume method
