I am a Professor of Mathematics at The University of Akron's Department of Mathematics. Previously I was a postdoctoral fellow at Michigan State University with Jon Hall and Ulrich Meierfrankenfeld as my mentors. I earned my Ph.D. in 2008 from the University of Florida under the supervision of Pham Huu Tiep.
My research focuses on Group Theory and Representation Theory, with primary interests in finite groups of Lie type and their representations, Deligne–Lusztig theory, complex/modular representations, ordinary/Brauer characters, and Brauer's p-blocks.
