In our everyday life, we perceive that there 3 spatial dimensions and 1 temporal dimension; we call this 4D spacetime. Spatial dimensions are reversible, but time only goes forward. However, there are evidences that our world may be embedded in a higher-dimensional spacetime. For example, the weakness of gravity compared to other forces may hint that gravity was "leaked" into the extra dimension and therefore gravity in our effective world appears to be weak. It is interesting to realize that, although our physical body is confined in 4D spacetime, our gravitational influence (and thoughts) can propagate into the hidden world!
I'm interested in exploring extra-dimensional models and their phenomenological implications.
