Welcome to EcoSpace ("App," "Service," "we," "us," "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," "your") and EcoSpace ("Developer"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.

By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read these Terms, understand them, and agree to be legally bound by them. If you are under the age of 18, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old and have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian to accept these Terms.
We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. Revisions are effective immediately upon posting to the App or our website. Your continued use of the App following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes. It is your responsibility to periodically review these Terms to stay informed of updates.
Additional terms, policies, and rules may apply to specific portions or features of the App and are supplemental to these Terms. These supplemental terms include our Privacy Policy, End User License Agreement (EULA), and any other policies or rules we post. In the event of conflict between these Terms and any supplemental terms, the supplemental terms will govern with respect to the specific feature or activity.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the App solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes on any compatible Apple device that you own or control.
You may use the App to:
Analyze and organize duplicate, blurry, similar, and redundant photos in your personal photo library
Identify and manage large video files on your device
Clean up low-resolution or corrupted media files
Review and delete unwanted media with your explicit confirmation
Browse and manage your personal media collection through the App's interface
Encrypt and protect sensitive photos using the private vault feature (if available)
You may NOT use the App to:
❌ Commercial Misuse:
Provide the App's features as a service to third parties or use the App for commercial purposes
Offer the App's functionality as a paid service to other users
Process, analyze, or delete media files belonging to other users without their explicit written consent and knowledge
Use the App in any business, professional, or commercial context
❌ Competitive/Deceptive Practices:
Use the App for competitive analysis or benchmarking against other cleaning or photo management applications
Misrepresent the App's capabilities or results to users
Use the App to falsely claim technical expertise in photo management
❌ Unauthorized Access & Security:
Share access credentials or provide account access to unauthorized users
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account or device beyond your own ownership
❌ Automated Abuse:
Use automated scripts, bots, or tools to artificially generate reviews, ratings, or feedback
Artificially manipulate the App's performance metrics or rankings through fraudulent means
This license is personal to you and is non-transferable. You may not rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App or any rights to it.
You agree to:
Use the App in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
Use the App only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe upon the rights of others
Take responsibility for your device's security and maintain appropriate device access controls
Maintain current backups of your photos before using any cleanup or deletion features
Carefully review all photos and files before confirming deletion
Promptly inform us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security
Provide accurate and truthful information when requested
You agree NOT to, and will not permit others to:
🔒 Reverse Engineering & Decompilation
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, trade secrets, or architecture of the App
Analyze, copy, or extract the App's code, including any embedded machine learning models or detection algorithms
Use software such as debuggers or packet analyzers to inspect the App's operation
✏️ Unauthorized Modifications
Modify, adapt, alter, translate, create derivative works, or make unauthorized changes to the App
Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks in the App
Attempt to bypass, circumvent, or disable any security measures, digital rights management, or protective technologies
🚫 Unauthorized Access
Access the App using methods or interfaces other than those provided by us
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems, servers, or networks
Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or other scripts to access or interact with the App (unless explicitly authorized by us in writing)
Attempt to penetrate security measures or obtain unauthorized access to restricted features
⚠️ Interference and Misuse
Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the App or its systems
Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the App or the servers connected to it
Introduce viruses, malware, worms, or other harmful code through the App
Perform distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks or similar harmful activities
📋 Unauthorized Reproduction
Copy, reproduce, or duplicate the App without authorization (except for a single backup copy as permitted by applicable law)
Distribute the App or create mirror sites of the App's interface
⚖️ Illegal Activity
Use the App for any illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive purpose
Use the App to harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse any individual or entity
Use the App to process, store, or distribute illegal content (e.g., child exploitation material)
📊 Data Misuse
Attempt to extract, collect, or misuse metadata, EXIF data, or location information from photos without authorization
Use the App to collect, aggregate, or infer personal information about other individuals without authorization
Use the App to track or identify individuals
🎭 Review Manipulation & Fraud
Submit fraudulent, fake, or artificially generated reviews or ratings of the App
Pay for or incentivize others to write false reviews
Use multiple accounts to artificially boost ratings or manipulate rankings
Claim false experiences or results that you have not personally verified
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the App does not violate any laws or regulations in your jurisdiction. We are not responsible for any misuse of the App in violation of applicable law.
All intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, patents, and other proprietary rights in and to the App and its contents, are owned exclusively by EcoSpace or our licensors. This includes:
The App's source code, object code, algorithms, and architecture
All visual elements, including design, layout, graphics, icons, logos, images, and animations
All text, copy, and written content displayed in the App
All audio and video content
All software, code, algorithms, detection models, and machine learning models used for photo analysis and cleaning
The selection, coordination, arrangement, and presentation of all content
All trademarks and service marks associated with the App
These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the App. You receive only a limited, revocable license as described in Section 2. No title to the App or any intellectual property rights are transferred to you. You do not own the photos or files you analyze through the App; you only own the original files stored on your device.
"EcoSpace" and all associated logos, brand names, and distinctive graphics are trademarks, service marks, or registered trademarks of EcoSpace. You are not permitted to use these trademarks without our prior written consent. Any unauthorized use of our trademarks is prohibited and may violate trademark and intellectual property laws.
To the extent you use the App's optional feedback or support features to submit suggestions, bug reports, or other content ("Your Content"), you grant EcoSpace a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute Your Content without further consent or compensation. You represent that Your Content is original and does not infringe the rights of any third party.
EcoSpace is a personal photo and video management utility designed to help users:
Identify and categorize duplicate photos in their personal device library
Identify and manage blurry, low-resolution, or redundant photos
Identify and manage large video files on their device
Compare similar photos to help users make informed deletion decisions
Encrypt and protect sensitive photos using biometric authentication
Browse and organize personal media collections
⚠️ Important Limitations:
The App uses automated analysis to identify potential duplicates, blurry photos, and large files. No automated detection is 100% accurate.
The App is designed to assist you in reviewing your media—not to make automatic decisions for you
You retain full control over what gets deleted—all deletions require your explicit confirmation
Some duplicate photos may not be detected; some photos flagged may not actually be unwanted
The App does not recover deleted photos—deleted files are permanently removed from your device
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING:
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
WARRANTIES OF TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT
WARRANTIES OF QUIET ENJOYMENT
WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING, COURSE OF PERFORMANCE, OR USAGE OF TRADE
We do not guarantee that:
The App will achieve any specific results or outcomes
All duplicate or low-quality photos will be identified (some may be missed)
The App will function without interruption or errors
All identified photos are actually duplicates or of lower quality than retained photos
Features will work on all device models or iOS versions without issues
All defects will be corrected
The App is free of viruses, malware, or other harmful components
YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Maintaining regular backups of all your photos before using cleanup features
Carefully reviewing all suggestions before confirming deletion
Verifying that photos you delete are actually unwanted before permanent removal
Understanding that deleted photos cannot be recovered by us
Ensuring your device has adequate storage and battery before using the App
Understanding that the App cannot recover deleted files—deletion is permanent
YOUR USE OF THE APP IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. YOU ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY AND RISK OF LOSS FOR:
Any damage to your device resulting from your use of the App
Loss of photos, videos, or other data resulting from deletion through the App (whether accidental or intentional)
Any costs associated with photo recovery services if you accidentally delete irreplaceable media
Loss of metadata or EXIF information when photos are deleted
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL EcoSpace, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, CONTRIBUTORS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, OR AGGRAVATED DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Loss of profits or revenue
Loss of data, including loss of photos, videos, or other media
Loss of goodwill or reputation
Loss of use or business interruption
Any indirect or consequential economic loss
Damages arising from deletion of photos (whether accidental or intentional)
Costs associated with recovering deleted files or using third-party recovery services
Any claim arising out of your use (or inability to use) the App
This limitation applies regardless of the form of the action and whether the liability is based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory, even if:
We have been advised of the possibility of such damages
The damages were foreseeable
A limited remedy fails of its essential purpose
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP OR THESE TERMS, REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION OR THE BASIS OF THE CLAIM, WILL NOT EXCEED:
The total amount of fees you paid to us for using the App in the 12 months preceding the claim; OR
If you have not paid any fees, $100 USD
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes:
Our liability for death or personal injury caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct
Our liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
Any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law
Our liability for breaches of your privacy rights
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EcoSpace and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, suppliers, and licensors from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, losses, damages, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees and court costs) arising from or relating to:
Your use or misuse of the App
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
Your infringement of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity
Any content you submit or transmit through the App
Your negligence or willful misconduct
Your deletion of photos or data through the App that you did not intend to delete or that causes you loss
We reserve the right to assume exclusive control of the defense of any claim. You agree to cooperate fully with us in the defense of any claim and not to settle any claim without our prior written consent.
You may terminate your use of the App at any time by deleting the App from your device. Uninstalling the App will not affect any data stored on your device; your photos and other data remain intact.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, if we determine that:
You have violated these Terms
Your use of the App is illegal or harms others
You are engaged in unauthorized use of the App (including reverse engineering, unauthorized copying, review manipulation, or similar activities)
Your use poses a security risk or interferes with the normal operation of the App or our systems
You have engaged in fraudulent or deceptive conduct related to the App
Upon termination:
Your license to use the App is revoked
You must cease all use of the App
You must delete all copies of the App from your devices
Any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue in effect
We will not be liable to you or any third party for termination of your access to the App or any consequences resulting from such termination, including loss of data or inability to access deleted photos.
We may, at any time and without notice, modify, update, suspend, or discontinue the App or any portion or feature of the App. We may also modify, update, or remove features, including the removal of paid features. We will not be liable for any modifications, suspension, or discontinuance of the App.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App following any revisions constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the App indicates your acceptance of any modifications.
Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information.
Your photos are stored exclusively on your device
We do not collect, store, process, transmit, or retain your photos on our servers
We do not access your photos except during real-time analysis on your device
Deleted photos are not backed up by us and cannot be recovered by us
You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your photos if you wish to preserve them
When you delete a photo through the App, it is removed from your device
We do not retain copies of deleted photos on our servers
iOS may retain the photo in its native Trash folder for a limited time before permanent deletion—this is iOS's native functionality, not our backup
We cannot recover deleted photos for you
If you use Face ID or Touch ID to secure your private vault, this biometric data is processed exclusively by iOS security frameworks
We do not collect, store, access, or process your biometric data
All biometric authentication occurs on your device
The App performs on-device analysis to identify duplicates, blurry photos, and large files
This analysis does not transmit your photos to our servers
We may collect anonymized, non-identifying information about App performance and usage patterns to improve the App (such as number of photos analyzed, common device types, crash reports)—but never the photos themselves or personally identifying information
You can disable analytics in the App settings
The App may integrate with or provide access to third-party services, applications, and frameworks, such as:
Apple's Photos app and PhotoKit framework
iOS system services
Third-party crash reporting or analytics services (which do not receive your photos)
iCloud services (if you choose to use them)
We are not responsible for and make no representations regarding:
The accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of third-party content
The privacy practices of third-party services
Any harm or loss resulting from your use of third-party services
Your use of any third-party services or content is at your own risk and subject to their terms of service and privacy policies. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services before using them.
If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, bug reports, or feature requests regarding the App, you grant us a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display such feedback without restriction or compensation.
Any feedback you provide is not treated as confidential. We may use your feedback to improve the App without notifying you or crediting you.
You are solely responsible for any content you submit through the App (such as support messages or feedback). You represent and warrant that:
Your content does not infringe any intellectual property or other rights
Your content does not contain illegal, defamatory, obscene, or harmful material
You have the right to grant us the licenses described in this section
The App and underlying technical data are subject to U.S. export control laws, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). You agree not to export or re-export the App or any technical data:
To any U.S. embargoed country
To any entity on the U.S. Treasury Department's Specially Designated Nationals List or the U.S. Commerce Department's Denied Parties List
For any prohibited end use (such as the development of weapons of mass destruction or nuclear, chemical, or biological weapons)
By using the App, you represent that you are not subject to U.S. trade restrictions and are not located in, organized under the laws of, or ordinarily resident in any restricted country.
We do not endorse, warrant, or assume responsibility for any third-party products, services, links, or information accessible through the App. Any reliance on such third-party content is entirely at your own risk.
Any opinions or recommendations expressed in the App are those of the developers and do not necessarily reflect the opinions or recommendations of Apple, Inc.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if such modification is not possible, the provision will be severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any supplemental terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and EcoSpace regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and negotiations, whether written or oral.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising under or related to these Terms or your use of the App shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in California, United States. You irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of these courts.
