This Privacy Policy explains how NextLook (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the NextLook mobile application (the “App”).
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.
We don’t create accounts and we don’t run analytics/attribution in the App (as of today).
Your photos/videos and generated results are stored locally on your device (we do not store them on our own servers).
When you use AI features (try-on, face swap, photo/video generation), your content is sent to third-party AI providers to process and return results.
Those providers keep files only temporarily under their own retention rules (see Section 4 and 6).
We do not use face data to identify you, and we do not use your photos/videos for advertising targeting or tracking.
When you choose to use AI features, you may upload or provide photos, images, or videos (which may include faces, hair, and other visual data).
Local storage: We store your inputs and results on your device so you can view/export them later.
Because the App provides try-on and face swap features, your content may be processed in a way that involves “face data”.
What face data may be processed:
Face region detection (face bounding box / face area)
Facial landmarks (e.g., key points used for alignment)
For face swap features: derived facial feature representations needed to align and blend the face into selected image/video templates
Important:
We do not use face data for identity verification, authentication, or building identity profiles.
We do not attempt to identify who you are.
We do not collect Face ID data or any Apple biometric data.
We do not intentionally collect analytics or attribution data at this time.
Your device/OS may still generate basic system logs (e.g., crash information) that are handled by Apple or your OS environment.
Subscriptions and payments are processed by Apple In-App Purchase. We do not receive your full payment card details.
We use your information to:
Provide AI features you request (try-on, face swap, photo/video generation)
Perform face alignment / transformation needed to generate your requested results
Deliver and improve App functionality (e.g., fix bugs, maintain performance)
Prevent abuse and protect service integrity (e.g., rate limiting)
We do not use your photos/videos or face data for advertising targeting, selling data, or tracking.
To provide AI results, the App transmits your uploaded content (photos/videos) to third-party processors to generate outputs and return them to you. These providers act as service providers/processors for this purpose.
We use Replicate via API to run AI models and return outputs to you.
Processing may include face region/landmark detection and transformations for try-on or face swap features (depending on the selected model).
Retention (API): Replicate states that for predictions created through the API, input parameters, outputs (including files), and logs are automatically removed after about 1 hour by default. Our App uses the API flow, not Replicate’s web UI.
We use Perfect Corp’s AI APIs for features such as try-on, face-related processing, and image/video generation.
What processing may include: detecting faces, facial landmarks, hair regions, and applying transformations. We do not use this for identity verification.
Retention: Their AI API documentation states uploaded files are kept on their server for 1 day and deleted automatically; resulting files are kept for 30 days and deleted automatically.
We use fal.ai APIs to run AI models and return outputs to you.
fal.ai processes your submitted content to generate results and may retain input/output temporarily as needed to operate the service (e.g., request processing, debugging, abuse prevention) under its own policies/terms.
On your device: your inputs and generated results (unless you delete them).
On third-party AI servers: temporarily, under the retention windows described above and in Section 6.
We do not operate our own cloud storage for your photos/videos in the current version.
Local (on-device): retained until you delete it in the App (or uninstall the App / remove local files).
Third parties: retained according to their published retention periods/policies, for the purpose of fulfilling your request:
Replicate: ~1 hour by default for API predictions
Perfect Corp: uploads 1 day, resulting files 30 days
fal.ai: temporary retention as needed under its policies/terms
We do not keep a database of user faces or face templates for identification.
You can:
Delete local content inside the App (inputs/results saved on your device).
Stop using AI features by not uploading content or by declining the consent prompt (some features may not work without processing).
Uninstall the App to remove locally stored data (subject to your device backups).

We use reasonable technical measures to protect data in transit (e.g., HTTPS) and to minimize what we store. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
The App is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us at aicodedeveloper@163.com.
Third-party AI providers may process data on servers located in different countries/regions. By using AI features, you understand that your content may be transferred and processed internationally.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice in the App. The “Last Updated” date will reflect the effective revision.
