Next Up: Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
Next Up: Bill Countdown ("Next Up") is an iPhone app made by Sharmon Adams / Organic Everything ("we"). This policy covers the Next Up iOS app.
The short version
We don't collect any of your data. Next Up has no account, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your bills stay on your iPhone and in your own private iCloud.
What the app stores, and where
Your bills and notes. Names, amounts, due dates, how often they repeat, any notes you write, and your payment history.
- Your settings. Your greeting name, how far ahead "coming up" reaches, and whether amounts may show in notifications.
This information is stored on your iPhone. If you're signed in to iCloud, it also syncs to the private CloudKit database in your own iCloud account, so it's on your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account. Apple handles that storage under Apple's Privacy Policy. The private database belongs to you: we can't see, read, or access it.
What we collect
Nothing. The app doesn't send your information to us or to any third party. We don't run a server for this app, and the app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting code.
Notifications
Reminders are local notifications, scheduled on your iPhone by the app itself. By default they show only the bill's name and due date, never the amount. You can change that in the app's Settings, and you can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings.
Tracking
Next Up doesn't track you across apps or websites, and it doesn't use the advertising identifier.
Children
Next Up is a general-audience utility. It isn't directed at children, and it collects no personal information from anyone.
Deleting your data
To delete a bill: open it, tap Remove, then tap again to confirm.
- Deleting the app removes the data stored on that iPhone.
- Removing a bill in the app also removes it from your iCloud copy. You can also manage or delete app data stored in your iCloud from iOS Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Storage, where Next Up appears if it has stored data there.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, for example because a feature that needs data is added, we'll update this page and the date above before that version is released.
