Privacy Policy
NexPDF — 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how NexPDF (the “App”) handles information when you use it on Android devices. For privacy-related questions, contact us at: info.efinder@gmail.com
2. Scope
By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
3. What the App does
The App provides tools related to PDF documents, such as creating and organizing PDFs, scanning documents, compressing files, password protection, preview, and sharing features, depending on the version you have installed.
4. Information stored on your device
Most operational data stays on your device, including:
• Your in-app library metadata (e.g. titles, favorites, sort preferences) stored locally.
• App settings (e.g. theme and default options) stored locally.
• PDF files and temporary files created when you use features such as export, scan, or edit.
If you uninstall the App or clear its storage from Android Settings, locally stored App data may be deleted. Copies you saved outside the App (for example under Documents / NexPDF or another folder you chose) are not removed by uninstalling the App alone.
5. Permissions
Depending on your Android version and the feature you use, the App may request or use:
• Camera — to scan documents when you start a scan flow.
• Storage / files — to read, save, import, or export PDFs through the storage access patterns allowed by Android.
• Internet — required for advertising-related services and consent flows described below, and for any online-enabled components bundled with third-party libraries.
We do not use these permissions for purposes unrelated to providing the App’s features in a reasonable way.
6. Advertising, Google AdMob, and consent (UMP)
The App may display advertisements delivered through Google AdMob (or equivalent Google advertising services). Ad delivery and measurement typically require a network connection and may involve processing of technical and usage data by Google and partners.
To meet applicable requirements (including platform rules such as Google Play), the App may use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present consent or privacy preference experiences related to ads. You can review or update certain choices when the App offers them (for example from Settings).
Types of data that may be processed for advertising (general description) include, where applicable:
• Device or advertising identifiers (for example Android Advertising ID, subject to your device settings and consent).
• IP address.
• Ad interaction signals (such as impressions or clicks, often in aggregated form).
• Technical device and app information (device model, OS version, language) used for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and reporting.
The exact processing depends on your device settings, your choices in applicable consent flows, Google account settings where relevant, and the laws in your region. We do not control all processing performed by Google or other ad partners; it is governed by their policies.

7. Document scanning (Google Play services / ML Kit)
If you use document scanning, the App may process images or derived scan data to produce a PDF. Depending on implementation and version, processing may occur on-device and/or involve components such as Google Play services / ML Kit. Please review Google’s documentation and policies for those services.
8. Sharing with other apps
When you use “Share” or open content in another app, information is sent to that third-party app or service under its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for third-party processing outside the App.
9. Security
We apply reasonable safeguards appropriate to a mobile application. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
10. Retention
• Local App data — kept until you delete the App data, uninstall the App, or remove items within the App, subject to Android behavior.
• Data processed by Google (ads, consent, ML components) — retained according to Google’s policies and your settings.
11. Children
The App is not directed to children under the age where consent is required in your jurisdiction (often 13–16 depending on region). If you believe we have collected information from a child without appropriate authority, contact us at info.efinder@gmail.com and we will take reasonable steps to address it.
12. Your rights (EEA, UK, and similar regions)
If applicable laws grant you privacy rights, you may have the ability to:
• Access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and request portability where required by law.
• Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based (for example ad-related choices presented via UMP), without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
To exercise rights against us as the app operator, email info.efinder@gmail.com. For processing primarily controlled by Google as an independent provider, you may also use tools and settings described in Google’s policies.
13. International transfers
Providers such as Google may process data in countries other than your own. Google describes its safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) in its privacy documentation.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect legal or App changes. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.
