Scope

The constantly increasing demand in wireless communications is driving current research to explore novel communications techniques and new system architectures. From an engineering perspective, next-generation wireless networks aim for greater throughput, ultra-high reliability, high connection density, low power consumption as well as the ability to be reconfigurable. This workshop seeks original contributions in all areas of wireless communications and its applications, relevant to their design, analysis and implementation.

Topics of interest include but are not limited to the following areas:

• MIMO, multi-user MIMO, massive MIMO, holographic MIMO

• Energy harvesting and wireless power transfer for wireless communications

• Integrated sensing and communications

• Machine learning for communication systems

• Heterogeneous and small-cell networks

• Reconfigurable communication technolgies (e.g. intelligent reflecting surfaces, fluid antennas)

• Millimeter wave and Terahertz communications

• Smart micro-grid communication networks

• Semantic communications

• Communications for intelligent transportation systems
