We love bears! New York Bear Den is a safe haven where bears and bear lovers can build real friendships and genuine community. Our socials are a wonderful opportunity for bears and bear‐lovers to meet and break bread in a non‐judgmental and alcohol‐free environment. At New York Bear Den, the local bear and bear‐loving community enjoys eating, socializing, playing table games and more!
Our Monthly Gatherings
Greetings, bears and bear‐lovers! New York Bear Den invites all bears and bear‐lovers to gather for an indoor picnic at Whole Foods Market at 95 East Houston Street (between Chrystie Street and the Bowery) in Manhattan on Sunday, 11 August 2024, at 2 o’clock p.m. We will meet in the food court on the second floor, near the elevator and the staircase.
The F train to the Second Avenue subway station has an exit by the center door of the market. The 6 train to Bleecker Street, the B or D train to Broadway–Lafayette Street and the M train to Bowery also are within reasonable walking distance. The Bleecker Street and Broadway–Lafayette Street stops are the only stations in the area with an elevator to the street level.
For a number of years, New York Bear Den has explored this great city by meeting in various indoor and outdoor locations in Manhattan. We henceforth will meet indoors at this Whole Foods location on the second Sunday of each month.
