This content is sent to the OpenAI API, which uses artificial intelligence to process and return the analysis results.

3. Data Storage

The extension does not store any personal or browsing data from users. Temporary data (the news page text) is stored locally on the user's device only during the analysis process and is immediately deleted once the results are generated and displayed.

No data is permanently stored or transmitted to external servers.

4. Use of Remote Code

The extension uses the OpenAI API to process the content of the analyzed page. The text from the selected pages is temporarily sent to the OpenAI API, where the AI analysis occurs. No personal or identifiable user data is sent, only the text of the news page.

5. Required Permissions

To function properly, the "News Analyzer" extension requires the following permissions:

- "tabs" and "activeTab": To access and analyze the content of the active tab when the user requests an analysis.

- "storage": To temporarily store the textual content to be analyzed.

- "scripting": To run scripts on the active page and collect the content for analysis.

6. Information Sharing

The "News Analyzer" extension does not share data with third parties, except with the OpenAI API for content analysis purposes. This data is limited to the textual content of the news page and does not include any personal information about the user.

7. Data Security

The extension takes measures to ensure that temporary data stored locally is deleted immediately after the results are displayed to the user. We do not collect, store, or process any personal information beyond what is necessary to perform the textual analysis of the news page.

8. User Rights

Users can uninstall the "News Analyzer" extension at any time to stop any interaction with the tool. No data collection continues after the extension is removed.
