New Hartford United Methodist Church
Welcome everyone! So glad you stopped by. We hope everyone is doing well. We appreciate all those who have joined us in following the guidelines put in place in order to make everyone feel safe and comfortable during services. We hope that with the opening of school and more of a comfort of being out that we will see our numbers grow even more.
FALL DINNER! The New Hartford United Methodist Church will once again be hosting their fall dinner on Sunday, November 8! Will it look a bit different? Yes. Will the food still be great? Yes! Due to restrictions we are putting a bit of a "twist" on our annual fall dinner. We will be doing a drive-up/delivery dinner! Meals can be picked up or locally delivered between 10:30 and 12:30. We will be serving turkey, ham, cheesy potatoes, green beans, relishes, rolls/butter, and homemade pies and desserts. Each meal will be packed when you arrive and delivered hot to your car in take home containers. We will also have local delivery available upon request. Tickets will be sold in advance for a better count, there will be a limited number of meals available without advanced purchase. Cost of the meal will be $7.00 in advance and $8.00 for a limited number of non-advance meals. Tickets can be purchased by emailing the church @ firstname.lastname@example.org; Sandy Becker (319) 269-4138 or email@example.com; the New Hartford City Hall; or the New Hartford Library. If you have questions or would like to arrange delivery, please contact Sandy Becker. We look forward to opening our "Church Drive-In" on November 8!
HELP! We are looking for someone to shovel our sidewalks and walkways this winter. It would require shoveling after each snowfall and making sure that the walkways are clear on Sunday mornings and putting down ice melt when needed. If you are interested please let us know. Either call the church at 319-983-2322 and leave a message or email the church at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Giving: Please mail your givings to the church as we will still need to pay bills (PO Box 301, New Hartford).
Sunday School: SUNDAY SCHOOL HAS STARTED!!! You've heard the old say, "It takes a village to raise a child," well, we are looking for people from our "church village" who would be willing to teach Sunday School. We are trying a little different approach this year...we would like to find enough people willing to share their time and talents that everyone would only have to teach a couple times this year. We would be happy to provide you with materials OR if you would like to share a craft, recipe, favorite Bible story, or experience we'd love that too! We think it truly takes all the wonderful people in our "church village" to pass along their love of God to our children. You can choose from dates for a time that is convenient for you. If you are interested, please contact Denise LeBahn, Sue Considine, or Sandy Becker. We are excited to try this new approach and look forward to having our children experience the wonderful church family we have!
Caring Crew Needs: If you are in need of someone to pick up necessary groceries or medications, anything, please contact Sandy Becker and the Caring Crew if you would like assistance with any of these tasks. We are here to help you feel safe and stay healthy! Phone: 319-269-4138 or email at: email@example.com
