I have to get up most days at 5am for work, and am a heavy sleeper. Whenever I set my alarms for the morning, they always default to a medium sleeper tone, so I have to manually go and change my tone for every alarm I set.

I'm on my Alexa app and only see the default alarms and some "Celebrity" alarms. I'd like to wake up to birds chirping and other nature sounds, so is it possible for me to upload a custom mp3 and for Alexa to play that?

New Alarm Tone Download

I can't delete the old songs but I've redownloaded them multiple times, they're definitely not on the cloud - still get radar. Also, as another poster indicated, my text tone will not play my purchased (and downloaded) tones either. In face, most of my purchased & downloaded tones don't even show up in iTunes. I have receipts for them and I can see them on my phone, but not iTunes.

I would understand if the music I was trying to use was ripped from a cd or other outside source, but it isn't. And neither is my ringtone. I've paid Apple to use those sounds - twice in fact for each tone - and after 8 months this issue can't be resolved? It makes me miss my droids!

I have the exact same issue. Music downloaded on my device plays but other music in my library will not. It used to work fine as long as I had a wifi connection (my music library is all on my phone via icloud). The song plays when I set up the alarm but not when it goes off. I don't see a solution except to ensure the songs I want to use for alarms are actually downloaded onto my phone.

this is happening with both of our iPhone 7 alarms. We're getting radar no matter what we choose. I usually just use a different ring tone, and my husband uses music. I've installed the update, and still get radar. Sorry i don't have a fix.

Hi, I just found a way to play your music for an alarm, I when to my music hit on my songs, all my songs that had the cloud icon were not in my phone so I could not uses them as alarms, all I had to do was hit the cloud icon and it downloaded into my phone, how I can use that song for an alarm ??, try it c if it works for u, take care

Same exact issue on my iPhone X and nothing seems to fix it. I can't figure out how to delete and re-download my purchased tones. I can at least get rid of that awful radar tone by switching to built in ringtones for an alarm, but none that I've paid for.

I've tried checking the general phone settings and actual clock settings but no luck. I just want to change the tone so it automatically chooses it when creating a new alarm. Can't find a setting for it anywhere. Any help is appreciated.

I set several alarms every week, using Google Assistant, voice, ie hands free.

My problem is that the default ringtone for new alarms is "Bixby alarm", which is frankly useless for waking me up. And, having impaired hearing, for pretty much everything else. I have got tired of not noticing or not hearing the default alarm.

I know that I can go to individual alarms and change the ringtone. However, there are literally no circumstances under which I would choose "Bixby alarm". And having to edit every single alarm I set should be unnecessary, in addition to which, there are times when I can't edit it, for example if I set an alarm while driving or if I have very dirty hands.

So, I want to change the default ring tone for alarms. I want to be able to say "Hey Google. Set alarm for 4.00" and know that an alarm will set for 4.00 with the ring tone "Loud scream" (or whatever) rather than the Bixby alarm which I can't always hear.

Does anyone have any ideas, please?

I know this is an older post, but I've finally found the solution! Delete every alarm but one and change that one alarm to what you want, new ones should come up with the same sound! That's what just worked for me!

I don't know if you solved your problem or not, but I'm saying it fo anyone else who has same problem, open the sound that you wanna use as ringtone or alaram in Samsung music, then touch on there points and choose set as, there you can see few options for ringtone and alaram, and you can even chose form the begging or middle or wherever you want that song aplay as your alaram or ringtone

Have you ever went to a school that has the fire alarm goes off and has an alarm or tone that goes off over the intercom? My kindergarten school did this and my 2nd grade school did this. Here is what I am talking about:

Fire Alarm and Rauland-Borg alarm - YouTube

Hello. I just got my G4 yesterday and was setting up the alarm clock so I would wake up for work this morning. I've noticed that there is no option to change the alarm tone. Is this a bug in the new OS? If I go to the "timer" page, it does have an alarm tone option there. It's running Android 5.1. Peculiar. Also note... I have the GPad X83 and it has the exact same issue. I need a louder alarm tone!!! Please help!

Yes finally got it changed. Once you set the alarm time, you can scroll down below the Repeat section (that shows the days in square boxes). You scroll down below that area. But for some reason, it won't actually scroll unless you put your finger below that faint horizontal line. Very weird. Hope this helps.

Not sure what the alarm app looks like on your phone, but when you select the alarm (as if you were setting the time) right under the days of the week used to set the repeat, should be a little alarm icon, with the tone name next to it. Or, you always have the option to install a different alarm app from the Play Store that has the funtionality that you want.

Hi @ChairmanOfTheBoard55. Have you checked your notification settings within your phone rather than in the Ring app? There is no option in the Ring app to set an alert tone specifically for the Mode change notification, as this is a standard push notification.

I first copied the file to the new phone, then in the clock app I removed all alarms and created a new alarm with Morning Flower. I though it worked and any new alarms kept morning flower and even setting a Google assistant alarm would also use Morning Flower.

However, when I finished the migration with Smart Switch, I was very upset that all my alarms were set to the default Homecoming and the assistant would also use homecoming, so I am back to square one.

Before I was able to use ES File Explorer to set as the default alarm as described here: -to-change-the-default-alarm-sound however, it seems newer version don't have this feature. The oldest version I could find was 4.2.2.9 which still did not work.

So I am looking for a way to change the default alarm, such than new alarms, even with an assistant use it as well all my current alarms (about 100) would also have the desired tone without having to edit every one.

In Set as you first need to select the starting point, From the beginning. I really like that you can pick a precise part here. Then chose what to set as including Alarm tone and it was done. A surprise is that it set all my alarms to Morning Flower automatically instead of me having to delete and re-import them.

I also searched on one of my older phones and found it had ES File Explorer 4.1.9.8, just a little older than what I found earlier, but it did have the Set Ringtone option. So searching for 4.1.9 I found a working apk that did install on the S23 and also has the Set option which works from any folder. So now I have two solutions for next time.

Thank you. I have tried several music apps, including Zedge, which is specifically mentioned in the thread I linked. They either do not have a set option or cannot link to the local files. It could be that if I buy and download a new song I could make it the alarm, but I want a local file and for that it does not work. I am still looking and will post if I find something.

My problem is that I accidentally added an alarm that I do not wish to use. I searched the whole clock app for a remove or delete option, but could not find one. I deleted the tone directly from the 'Alarms' folder, but it is still registered in the list (only it now uses the default sound). I attempted clearing the application's data, that didn't work either. I downloaded an app for removing ringtones and alarm tones, but it would not even run. I went as far as installing an app that can access the /system directory, but it was too complex in there and I did not want to break anything. My device is not rooted.

The ringtones on this website are in .mp3 format and is compatible with almost all mobile phones. Download ringtones and use them on Nokia Mobile phones, Samsung, Sony Ericsson phones, LG mobiles, Motorola phones etc... 2351a5e196
