A. Location Information (Precise and Background)
To provide the "Phone Fall Alert" and "Real-Time Tracking" features, the App requires access to:
- Precise location information (GPS coordinates and timestamps).
- Background location access: This allows the App to continue tracking your device and detect falls even when the App is minimized or your screen is off.
Why we use it:
- To display your current position on the map within the App.
- To detect if your device has fallen (using accelerometer data combined with location).
- To automatically send your exact coordinates to your designated emergency contact if a fall is detected.
Foreground Service:
When tracking is active, the App uses an Android Foreground Service. A persistent notification is displayed in your status bar to inform you that location tracking is currently running. You can stop this service at any time within the App.
Prominent Disclosure:
The App provides a clear in-app disclosure before requesting location permissions, explaining what data is collected and why. You must explicitly consent before any permission is requested.
B. Device Information
We access technical device details including:
- Device Manufacturer and Model
- Android OS Version
- Unique Device Identifiers (required for functionality)
Purpose: This data is included in the emergency alert email to help responders identify your specific device.
C. Emergency Contact Email
The App requires you to manually provide one Emergency Email Address. This email is stored locally on your device and is used solely to send location alerts when a fall is detected.
3. How We Use Information
- Emergency Alerts: Transmitting location and device data to your emergency contact.
- App Functionality: Displaying your real-time position on the map.
- Troubleshooting: Using technical diagnostic data to fix crashes and improve stability.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use information such as:
- Advertising IDs (e.g., Android Advertising ID)
- Device information and app interaction data
This data is processed to provide, measure, and personalize advertisements in accordance with Google’s policies.

6. Data Security and Retention
- Security: We use secure HTTPS transmission for all data sent (such as emergency emails). However, no internet transmission can be guaranteed 100% secure.
- Retention: Emergency contact emails and location settings are stored on your device. We do not maintain a history of your location on our own servers.

- Location Permissions: You can grant, deny, or revoke location permissions (Foreground and Background) at any time through your Android System Settings.
- Data Deletion: You can delete or change your saved emergency email address at any time within the App’s settings.

The App is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
