About Never Bored

The name is the whole idea

Hello! Allow me to introduce myself: my name's Turner and, well, I'm a guy who's never bored! I've spent my whole life in the pursuit of all things creative, and I have a particular passion for making this world a more beautiful place than how I found it.

I grew up on a farm in West Texas, where the land is flat and the nearest...anything is a long, long drive away. By most measures, that would mean there wasn't much to do. But I never took notice. I was always busy: inventing games to play, building things out of whatever was lying around, and drawing whatever came to me in my imagination. 

I took that sense of curiousity on with me and eventually found my way to New York City. (Now that was a place that you could never get bored of!) That chapter of my life opened me up to all new expereinces, helped me to expand my horizons, and allowed my imagination to grow even further than it had before.

No matter where I've been, or what stage of life, I was never bored. That has turned out to be the most useful skills I've ever developed.

Never Bored is what happens when that constantly curious kid grows up, learns digital drawing, and channels over forty years of life experience into creating hand-crafted prints, unique digital artwork... and a little bit of magic.

What I make

Every design starts as a hand-drawn illustration. The look is warm and a little retro: the color palettes of old matchbooks and roadside motel signs, the kind of image that feels like you've seen it before even when you haven't.

That artwork becomes:

• Greeting cards — 5x7, blank inside, with envelopes

• Boxed notecard sets — ten cards, one design or a themed mix

• Postcards — 4x6, printed on both sides, actually worth mailing

• Art prints — 8x10, ready to frame

• Canvas totes and stickers — the same illustrations, off the page

Everything is printed in small batches, packed in recyclable or compostable materials, and made close to home.
