Topics on Neuroscience, Collective Migration and Parameter Estimation

3rd-7th of July 2023, Oxford

Organising Scientific Committee: Jose A. Carrillo (carrillo@maths.ox.ac.uk), Gissell Estrada (estradarodri@maths.ox.ac.uk), Duncan Martinson (William.Martinson@maths.ox.ac.uk) and Pierre Roux (pierre.roux@maths.ox.ac.uk)

Overview

This workshop brings together experts from neuroscience, collective migration, and parameter estimation to explore the dynamics and self-organization mechanisms at various scales and to develop mathematical models for their description. The ultimate goal is to advance our understanding of key mechanisms underlying self-organization at multiple scales and to derive universal mathematical models that can capture these processes.
