The Northeastern Mathematics Graduate Seminar serves as a platform for graduate students to share their current interests or professional experiences in mathematics. While this seminar is primarily intended for graduate students, it is open for everyone to attend.
This seminar is held bi-weekly on Fridays (1.30 pm) in Lake 509, with occasional additional sessions.
Why should you give a talk?
It provides a low-stake environment for you to practice giving talks if you've never done so
You can share some cool things you've learned or discovered that your peers might not be familiar with
You make new friends with people who find your talk interesting (or make enemies with those who don't)
Free pizza!
