The REHVA HVAC World Congress CLIMA is the leading international scientific congress in the field of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC).
The theme of this Italian edition is “Decarbonized, healthy, and energy-conscious buildings in future climates”, a topic that highlights the fundamental importance of the HVAC sector in all its aspects.
The PRIN NETPLUS research team will participate in CLIMA 2025 – 15th REHVA HVAC World Congress, which will take place from 4th to 6th June 2025 in Milan, Italy. On this occasion, the team will present a scientific paper that showcases recent advancements in the modelling and simulation of Positive Energy Districts (PEDs) tailored to the Italian context.

“Positive energy districts Italian archetypes: case-studies, energy modelling and simulation.”
This work defines representative archetypes of Italian Positive Energy Districts through selected case studies and advanced energy modelling. The research supports the development of integrated strategies for designing and managing PEDs, aiming to foster decarbonised, healthy, and energy-conscious buildings adapted to future climate scenarios.
CLIMA 2025 is a leading international forum for researchers and professionals in HVAC and sustainable building design, providing a valuable platform for exchanging ideas and promoting innovation.
