If you have more than one Netflix-compatible device, you can switch devices at any time. Your membership plan determines the number of screens you can watch at the same time, but it does not restrict the number of devices you can associate with your account. If you want to watch on a new or different device, sign in to Netflix on that device. You can visit devices.netflix.com for more information about compatible devices, or our article about downloading the Netflix app for help setting up a new device.

I've been playing on Netflix / iphone for a while now with zero issues and now all of a sudden I keep getting signed out. I've been signing back in and it's fine for 30sec to a few minutes and then signs me back out. Extremely annoying. Anyone else experiencing this issue and has a fix for it?

If you pay for Netflix through a third party, or your subscription is included in a package, search our Help Center for the name of the third party to find the right article. Then see the "I'm having trouble signing in to Netflix" section for instructions.

Netflix is easy to use when on the go or traveling. Use Netflix as usual to watch on your portable devices - like a tablet, laptop, or mobile phone - or sign into a new TV, like at a hotel or a holiday rental.

After restarting my computer, when I click sign in, there is now a blue progress indication bar in the popup window, whereas before it was just completely white. It remains open and the progress animation runs for a short while (maybe 30-60 seconds) and then the popup window closes automatically, but I am not signed in. I guess something times out.

If I sign out of my profile in Chrome and click sign in with Google, the popup will initially show the view where you can choose your Google profile, but as soon as I select it, it signs Chrome back into my profile, and the popup enters the same state it was in before I signed out, i. e. it shows the progress bar for a while, then closes without signing me in.

What happens to my Netflix account if I move?

Your Netflix subscription relationship is with Netflix directly, even if you signed up through Xfinity X1. Because of this, a move will not impact your subscription unless you are billed by Comcast, in which case, you will need to update your method of payment for Netflix.

I accidentally linked the wrong Netflix account to my Xfinity package. What should I do?

If you accidentally connect the wrong Netflix account to your Xfinity package, please sign out of the Netflix app on X1 and please contact us.

Datafrom a report by analytics organization Antennashowed that in a two-day window after Netflix implemented its new password sharing policy, the platform saw the largest number of new account sign-ups since 2019.

Yes you need to whitelist other domains, big sites like Youtube which are using accounts across multiple Google properties sites often are not doing the authentication on the primary domain and are instead redirecting your browser to another domain for authentication. This is also what allows you to sign into one site like Youtube and then also be signed in on Google Drive, Gmail, etc.

Apparently this is an ongoing problem when attempting to register for an account with Netflix. When reaching the credit card stage, step 3 I believe, being turned away with the notice: "Sorry, but we are unable to complete the sign-up process now. Please try again later." Elsewhere the solution mentions faulty response to the card used or the bank behind that card. In my case I attempted to use cards from two different banks, one here in AU and the other on a US bank... and even offered to pay via PayPal... to no avail. Why? Does Netflix not want my business? Is this something personal? Is there another choice for the same service Netflix offers?

I called to Netflix support team and they give a solution and it worked great, I could move from Paypal to Debit card , I was unable due a message in a Yellow box saying that wasnt possible the sign up procces . On the phone you should say them you want to erase the paypal option from your account , then they will stop your memebership, try you to log off, the solution that technical support gave me was , not the click on the "Log in " option ( Never click on the resume membership , it will head you to the kind of glitch) , instead you must click on the option " Join free for a month " then when the page requiere your mail and pass just put the email and pass that you have been using normally for your netflix account , next step is choose your plan and fill your payment option . I had been talking for almost an hour with technical support and finally the gave me a solution . Hope it works for you .

I logged out of Netflix on all devices (computers, firestick, tv, etc.) and then waited 3 MONTHS. Then I tried again and my credit card payment went through. Mind you I had also done this at least once in the past and it had not gone through then. I can only guess that they let a % of new credit card subscriptions in a month and then try to make everyone else buy their Netflix gift card by saying their credit card transactions won't go through. If weren't for specific shows that are only on Netflix, I would refuse to do business with them. I am still dissatisfied what I went through to sign up. It does feel dishonest, and I am weary about what's going to happen when I have to update my credit card for payment.

Netflix reportedly experienced a strong level of U.S. sign-ups in July, a signal that its ongoing efforts to curb password-sharing have so far not deterred subscribers from joining the streaming service.

"Based on the most current data available, Netflix saw nearly 100,000 daily sign-ups on both May 26 and May 27," Antenna said in a post. "These exceed the spikes in sign-ups Antenna observed during the initial US COVID-19 lockdowns in March and April 2020."

Generally speaking, the Netflix app on most smart TVs is going to look and perform pretty identically from one brand to the next. Here's how you can sign out of your Netflix account using whatever brand of smart TV you own, or whatever type of streaming device you have connected to your TV.

In-browser Netflix is also the only place you'll find the essential time-saving option of signing out of all your Netflix-connected devices at once. A crucial security feature that kicks everyone using an account back to the sign-in prompt with one click. Just click "Account" in that same drop-down menu as above and you'll see a "Sign out of all devices" link listed under the Settings section on the next page.

Since these are some of the hardest devices to log into Netflix on, it follows that they're the most challenging to sign out of. Here's what you need to know for that immensely stressful moment when you cannot find the sign out option and are about to hand the keys of your account to an Airbnb host who didn't even have salt and pepper: Get help.

Netflix has hidden the sign out option under "Get Help" on most devices because only under extreme stress would someone ever want to disconnect their Netflix account from a TV, right? Simply scroll down to "Get Help" on any profile and then "Sign Out of Netflix." If you click on your profile thumb repeatedly out of frustration, you are not alone.

A brief ps. The problem apparently is with Netflix. Now when signing in, they suggest that you delete the cookie if you are having problems signing in. They are working to solve the problem, so I guess it wasn't just me. In the meantime, I'm checking periodically and using Safari when I need to make adjustments to my queue. e24fc04721
