Neon Car Out — Privacy Policy Effective July 22, 2026
This page explains what Neon Car Out does and does not collect, how the little it does collect is used, and how to reach us with questions.
1. Overview
Neon Car Out is a puzzle game published by CV Apps ("we," "us"). It does not require an account, a login, or any personal information to play. There is no chat, no social features, and no way for one player to see another player's data.
The short version: your level progress stays on your phone, and the only outside party involved is Google, through the advertising described in Section 3.
2. Data stored on your device
To remember your progress between sessions, the app saves a small amount of information locally on your device. None of it leaves your device, and none of it identifies you personally.
Star rating per level — so completed levels show your best result
Current level / resume point — so the level-select screen can pick up where you left off
Sound / mute preference — so your audio setting persists between sessions
Uninstalling the app removes this data completely. We have no server, so we never receive a copy of it.
3. Advertising & third-party data
Neon Car Out is supported by optional, ad-funded features (for example, watching a short video to gain an extra shuffle or undo) and, in some builds, a small banner ad. These are served by Google AdMob.
Advertising status: active. Neon Car Out uses Google AdMob to show a banner ad during gameplay, and optional rewarded video ads that grant an extra shuffle or undo. This matches the "Data safety" section on our Google Play listing.
When advertising is active, Google's SDK may collect, on our behalf:
An advertising identifier and other device identifiers, used to limit how often you see the same ad and to measure ad performance.
Coarse, IP-derived location (typically city-level), used for ad relevance and fraud prevention.
General app interaction data, such as which ad was shown and whether it was watched or dismissed.
We never receive your name, email address, contacts, precise location, photos, or any other personal file from this process — Google's ad SDK operates independently of our own local save data.
Where required (for example, under GDPR in the EEA/UK), a consent prompt from Google's User Messaging Platform appears before any personalized ad is requested, and you can decline personalization there.
Google's own handling of this data is governed by their policy: policies.google.com/privacy, and their ad-specific terms at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
4. App permissions
Internet access — loads ads when advertising is enabled; the game itself works fully offline
Vibration — a short haptic tap when you select a car, purely cosmetic feedback
We do not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, files, precise location, or any other sensitive permission.
5. Children's privacy
Neon Car Out is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where advertising is enabled, ad requests are configured as non-personalized for audiences the store classifies as child-directed, consistent with Google Play Families and COPPA requirements.
6. Data retention & security
Because gameplay data is stored only on your device and we operate no backend server or database, we do not retain a copy of it, and there is nothing on our end to secure, breach, or hand over. Any advertising data described in Section 3 is retained and secured according to Google's own policies, linked above.
7. Your choices
Reset local progress: clear the app's storage or uninstall it from your device settings — this deletes all saved star ratings and preferences immediately.
Limit ad personalization: on Android, go to Settings → Privacy → Ads and turn on "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization."
Decline consent prompts: where a Google consent form appears, you may decline personalized ads there directly.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes — for instance, when advertising is switched on for the first time, or a new feature changes what data we handle — we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
