Neon Nerds

The Neon Nerds are an all girls competitive robotics team in Southern Brazoria County. We are trying to pursue our passion for STEM by building a team to compete in FIRST robotics challenges. Being on the Neon Nerds allows us to learn skills in CAD, programming, the engineering process, and building. Being on a robotics team also allows us to learn business skills such as finance, branding, marketing, and to improve our communication skills.  Because each team member works on a different aspect of the robotics challenge, it allows us to learn from each other and be a better team.  This year, we are also empowering and mentoring a new group of girls - the Neon Nova team, and we have very big plans for the year to come!
