Welcome to my webpage !

I am associate professor at Jean Monnet University in Saint-Etienne and a member of GATE-LSE (CNRS).  Before joining the University of St-Etienne, I was associate professor at CERDI (2009-2011) and a Post-Doc researcher at WZB Berlin Social Science Center (2008-2009).

My research is at the crossroad between regional/urban economics and public policies. My present research agenda relies on spatial data to address issues in urban economics such as the local determinants of crime in developing countries or the changing preferences of workers with respect to their residential choice at the neighborhood level. I also developed economic geography models to understand governments’ decisions in terms of corporate or environmental taxation and their impact on spatial inequalities.

I teach at Saint-Etienne School of Economics, where I am the head of the Master "Territoires et Transitions" since 2019.
