This privacy policy explains how Neke The Snake (the "app"), developed by Cortex Gaming ("we", "us"), handles information when you use the app on Android.
1. Summary
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, or precise location. We do not run our own servers. The app shows ads provided by Google AdMob, and it offers an optional in-app purchase through Google Play to remove ads. Those Google services collect some information as described below.
2. Information stored on your device
The app saves your settings (controls, level, walls, sound), your high scores, and whether you have bought "Remove ads". This information stays on your device. It is not sent to us, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows full-screen ads through the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob). To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and process:
- your device's advertising ID and app set ID
- your IP address, from which an approximate location can be inferred
- device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, and app version
- ad interaction data, such as ads shown and ads tapped
- diagnostic information about how ads perform

Personalised ads: If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before any ads load, using Google's consent tool. If you do not consent, Google may still show non-personalised or limited ads. You can change your choice at any time in the app under Settings > Privacy.
Anywhere, you can limit personalised ads by resetting or deleting your advertising ID in your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads, depending on your device).
If you buy "Remove ads", the app stops loading ads.
4. In-app purchase (Google Play Billing)
The optional "Remove ads" purchase is processed entirely by Google Play. We never receive your payment card or bank details. The app only receives confirmation from Google Play that the purchase was made, so that it can switch ads off and restore your purchase on a new device. Google's handling of purchase data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Play Terms of Service.
5. What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use analytics or crash-reporting services of our own. We do not collect personal information directly, and we have no access to the data Google collects other than aggregated, anonymous reports in our AdMob and Google Play accounts.
6. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will help to have it removed.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because we do not hold personal information ourselves, most requests are best directed to Google, for example through https://myaccount.google.com. You can withdraw or change ad consent in the app under Settings > Privacy (where available), and you can delete all data stored by the app by uninstalling it. You may also contact us, and you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Data retention
Data stored on your device is kept until you uninstall the app or clear its data. Data collected by Google is kept according to Google's own retention policies.
9. Security
Information sent between the app and Google's services is encrypted in transit.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
