Buku Teologi Islam Harun Nasution PDF 71: A Review of the Book on Islamic Theology by Harun Nasution

Buku Teologi Islam Harun Nasution PDF 71 is a book on Islamic theology by Harun Nasution, a prominent Indonesian scholar and reformer. The book was published in 1972 by Universitas Indonesia and contains 156 pages. The book is divided into three sections: the first section discusses the history and development of Islamic theology, the second section analyzes the main theological schools and doctrines in Islam, and the third section compares and evaluates the different theological views.

The book is considered one of the most influential works on Islamic theology in Indonesia and beyond. Harun Nasution was known for his critical and rational approach to Islamic thought, as well as his advocacy for ijtihad (independent reasoning) and tajdid (renewal) in Islam. He challenged the traditional views of some Muslim scholars and groups, such as the Ash'arites, the Maturidites, the Mu'tazilites, the Khawarij, and the Murji'ites. He also criticized the concept of an Islamic state and argued for a secular democracy based on human rights and pluralism.

The book is available online in PDF format at OPAC Perpustakaan Nasional RI. The book is also available in Google Books at Teologi Islam: aliran-aliran sejarah analisa perbandingan. The book is written in Indonesian language, but some of Harun Nasution's works have been translated into English, such as The Islamic State in Indonesia: The Rise of the Ideology, the Movement for its Creation and the Theory of the Masjumi (1965) and Thoriqot Qodiriyyah Naqsabandiyyah: History, Origin, and Development (1990).
