Neil Silveus

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at Hope College. My interests include topics in public economics and political economy, especially as they relate to vulnerable populations and social service provision. Currently, my research agenda is focused on subsidized housing and post-incarceration outcomes. I also have work investigating how partisan gerrymandering and electoral competition affect voter participation.

My CV may be found here.

Job market paper: Subsidized Housing and Prisoner Re-entry: The Impact of Wait Time on Re-incarceration. Current draft.
