Jill Ray has been a practicing Artist and Designer for over 25 years. She trained first in fine art then followed a career as a Landscape Architect until 2012 when she launched Jill Ray Landscapes which combines her design and fine art skills.
Jill developed her print technique while practicing as a Landscape Architect, when she discovered what a great drawing tool her PC was. She really loves the way layers of translucent blocks of colour can build up an image. Jill’s main concerns are colour, light and the rhythms of landscape – she is fascinated by the way similar shapes and patterns echo and repeat in the landscape.
