C.J. is the Engineering & Physical Sciences Librarian and a graduate student in Natural Resources and Earth Systems Science at the University of New Hampshire. Her dissertation research is all about flying squirrels! She is a mom to two amazing kids who are helping her build nest boxes and collect data. She is especially interested in getting kids outside and is encouraging families, scouts, librarians, and especially STEM teachers in getting involved with this flying squirrel participatory science nest box project. C.J. has been interested in the effects of forest fragmentation on flying squirrels since the 1990s and is so happy to be back in the woods with the squirrels again! Read C.J.'s previous work on flying squirrels here and here.
