I connected my neewer NW-700 microphone to a phantom power source. I the microphone was directly connected to the phantom power source, and the other cable was directly plugged into the phantom and the laptop through the headset jack. My MacBook Air is not recognizing it,, therefore not picking up any Audie from the microphone. I already tried system preferences and it's not popping up. Is there anything you can do to help?
I just got a Neewer NW-700 microphone. The volume output is just too damn low in the recordings I make in audacity. Try to boost the volume and the static is off the charts! I will not use noise reduction whatsoever. The audio quality is fine. I am also using onboard sound. There is no dedicated sound card in my system. I have used realtek drivers and what i did was follow this video:
