NEET 2018 is an All India UG (undergraduate) entrance exam which is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). NEET is a single entrance exam in the country which is conducted to provide admission in MBBS/BDS colleges in India and Abroad. NEET 2018 will be held on 6th of May 2018.

How to calculate NEET Score

Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are the main subjects of NEET exam. There are total 180 questions and out of that 90 questions are from Biology, 45 questions from Physics and 45 from Chemistry. According to All India Ranking system, the ranking of the NEET Candidate can be affected if two or more students get the same marks in the exam. In such case, NEET Score will be calculated on some particular guidelines.

The candidates will have to secure minimum percentile to clear the NEET Exam 2018. The NEET Percentile will be differentiated in different categories. The expected NEET Percentile of NEET 2018 Exam is like:

General -50th Percentile

SC/ST/OBC -40th Percentile

General (PH) -45th Percentile

SC/ST/OBC (PH) -40th Percentile

For better understating, here is the example to calculate NEET Percentile / NEET Score:

If (A) has scored 300 in NEET Exam and 400 is the highest number of score secure by the NEET Topper. Then the percentile of (A) will be calculated are as follows:

300 X 100 / 400 = 75

NEET 2018 Result

After the successful completion of the NEET Exam, the NEET Result will be declared on 5th of June and it will be hosted on the official website cbseneet.nic.in. The candidates will be able to download NEET Result by entering their roll number and date of birth in the space provided. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the directives such as MCI (Medical Council of India), DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services), and DCI (Dental Council of India).
