Need For Speed Most Wanted Xpadder Profile

I recently installed Need For Speed World only to find it doesn't work with a gamepad (Xbox 360). I setup Xpadder to map the keys to the Xbox 360 controller and now it works great, but the problem is if Xpadder is running in the background, it messes up the controller configs for most of my other games. Is there a way for Gamebrowser III to launch an xpadder profile I made for this game and to close Xpadder when I close the game? Been looking online at the forums for NFS World, Xpadder and here and not having any luck yet. I'm hoping someone knows how to do this, or can point me in the right direction.

I tried to do what you suggested, but it didn't work due to me not completely understanding how to setup a blank default. I thought I had done that and set the autoprofile for the nfs world exe, but no response. I guess I will need a little hand holding on this one. Thanks for your time

So right now I'm trying to setup a basic windows control profile (under set #1 renamed Default), and I want different controls for MBT/MBC, do I put these controls in set#2? or do I need to make a whole new profile?

So I got this all setup with auto profile launching for MBC and emulators and it's awesome. But I have a quick question. Does it work with multiple controllers ie 2player games? Like for donkey Kong country if I wanted to setup 2 controllers, would that work?

Ok so I finally setup my xpadder again, yeah you can use 2 controllers with xpadder. Basically when you open a game and have the autoprofile setup, it assigns the 1st controller to that profile. So to have 2 controllers, you need 2 entries in the auto profile (1 for each controller).

Also, I looked into the "sets". Basically when you normally setup a button profile youre using set 1. If you have a game that needs more buttons than whats on your controller, you can assign more buttons in say, Set 2. Then somewhere on set 1 you just need to assign a button (either a press, or HOLD) to change/pull up set 2. This ive used before I just forgot since its been a while.

Just wanted to say that I use this loadout (with some modification) for my own Xpadder profile for Thief 1, 2 & TDM fan missions and it works perfectly. It's especially great for Thief Gold & Thief 2 because they support analog movement. It's just sooooo much easier to creep past (or creep behind for a good BJ) an NPC with analog movment on an Xbox 360 controller than it is having to fuss with special movement speed buttons and/or keys. So thanks for that. Been using Xpadder for several years but actually didn't know how to set up the multiple set switch until now. This is the perfect controller scheme for the games, imo. I can't wait for the developers of TDM to implement analog stick support in their excellent mod.

I also like using the xbox360 controller and the default setting is good, however we need the ability to edit the curves and even modify the default profile as I am also using it in conjunction with TrackIR 5

Just having such a nightmare trying to map the xbox controller, especially for scoped weapons. The default profile is great it just needs tweaking so you can add grenade throw and a few other things. In my opinion the menu buttons should be left to the keyboard, leaving the switches free for combat and movement.

The whole thing needs redone if u ask me and sooner rather than later so those beta testers who use the Xbox controllers can give some feedback on helicopter handling rather than spending most their time fiddling around in the confusing control menus.

Noob isn't even a word that would describe the knowledge I have as an MMO player. I've played video games on all types of consoles and PC's for most of my life, but I was at a complete loss when it came to the massive amount of key combinations needed to be successful in the MMO world. When Star Wars: The Old Republic (SW:TOR) showed up on the horizon I jumped in line and registered for the beta, got my code and began my journey through the SW:TOR Universe. To say the least I was struggling until I stumbled upon a post on the SW:TOR forums that talked about using a controller / gamepad with an MMO.

There are some good places to check for more information like SW:TOR forums and xpadder forums. But more importantly the blog Peeps Plays with His Controller. I have taken his layout for the most part and changed a few things. Lots of great info and more tips here.

I've played on pc most of my life and only have recently begun to delve into the console gaming world. I wondered what it would be like to play Dayz with my 360 controller and have also used the xpadder program. I have to admit it was one of my best dayz decisions so far. After a week or two of getting used to the controls it is much better than playing with mouse and keyboard. Don't get me wrong, most game on pc I prefer M&K but tbh it fits amazing well to Dayz. I can also upload my xpadder layout if anyone would like to take a look at it, though mine is VERY similar to the op's (with a few small differences).

If you're missing the Xbox controller, give it a go and tell me what you think. I attempted to keep the layout as simple/logical as I could without missing any important keybindings. (most of what you need is available in the main controls, more "weapons-based" controls when you hold the left shoulder)

I was on of the peasants who while the game supported the xbox360 controller used its limited functionality with a xpadder profile loaded over the top to put 90% of the games functions onto the controller (everything except the hand gestures which id just use the KB for.) i found it quite relaxing playing in my leather recliner with controller in hand wireless KB next to me playing on my 65 inch led tv, was nice even being able to use the xbox headset to communicate with was almost as good as my 190 dollar pc headset lol which is not wireless hence back to the monitor for me.

Might give this a try (does the movement work as it use to with the games profile that the stick controlled the speed of your movement as in slight tilt forward walk tilt further jog full way forward run ?

Yes, you could turn it off, but it was there and mostly activated on default. To me this is another sign of gamepad being considered as not the best controller for shooters, not that I need any, as I'm fine with just my own experience.

This script is designed to lump together some mouse movements under certain circumstances. In most cases, it will automatically move the mouse to the place where you'll logically want it next. For Example while looting a room: stand near your item, after clicking start to open your gear the mouse will automatically be hovering over the first slot in the Vicinity Area, pull the left trigger and the mouse automatically moves over to the right and down a bit to highlight the first option, pulling the right trigger places it in your inventory. In total it's three button moves: Start, Left Trigger, Right Trigger (never manually moving the mouse). The speed of the rightstick is adjusted under different circumstances: When running around, it's fairly fast (you can also increase or decrease this value), while in your gear, it's slower (also adjustable), and it's even more precise when you're aiming (adjustable). Remember to adjust for both values X and Y (horizontal and vertical)

Good luck sir! There are open source options out there for eye tracking using a playstation 2 camera. I have one I already modified if you wanted to give it a try(had a friend in a similar situation but recovered enough to not need it) I'd give it to you. I was going to use that in conjunction with a menu based system to navigate around windows, open programs. Its on this forum somewhere, directional menu that you move your mouse towards to open more options, circular pattern. be457b7860
