Celestial Wizardry ~ Magical Astronomy is an official doujin album by Team Shanghai Alice released on 13 August 2006 (Comiket 70). It is part of "ZUN's Music Collection", as the fifth volume, featuring 10 tracks and totalling 46 minutes.
"Necrofantasia" is the ninth track from Magical Astronomy. This version is modified from an early version from Touhou 7: Perfect Cherry Blossom.

"Necrofantasia" is the Phantasm boss, Yukari Yakumo's theme from Touhou 7: Perfect Cherry Blossom. The Magical Astronomy version is a modified edition of the same song.
The song can be regarded as having some sort of ternary structure (ABAC). It features an extended introduction, an abridged recapitulation, as well as a coda.

About this arrangement
For this particular arrangement, I was fortunate enough to have many references - another arrangement of this version, various arrangements of the PCB version and a MIDI transcription of the actual song (although I did end up writing mostly original left hand accompaniments and transcribed the song mainly by ear).
The triple stave portion is arguably more confusing than the four stave segment from my arrangement of IaMP Memory of Forgathering Dream, since the climbing arpeggios needed to be split between two hands. Overall, I think it achieves a nice flowing effect, so I'm quite satisfied.
