Network of Blue Nanobiotechnology, from Biology to Therapeutics
This initiative brings together national and international institutions, such as Université Paris-Cité (France), University of Florida (USA), UFBA, Fiocruz/BA, SENAI Cimatec, UNIFACS, and UFRGS, committed to advancing knowledge and sustainable pharmaceutical innovation. RENAZUL stands out for its interdisciplinary nature, involving researchers from different areas of expertise, such as biotechnology, pharmaceutical technology, (bio)chemistry, and pharmacology, and seeks to propel Brazil into the global bioeconomy scenario, with a specific focus on Blue Biotechnology, through nanobiotechnology.
RENAZUL aims to promote using (macro)molecules and nanostructures (EVs) derived from microalgae for therapeutic purposes.
The members (PIs) of the network are located at different Research Centers and Universities.
