I'm a professor of philosophy at my undergraduate alma mater, Western Washington University.
My scholarly work is primarily on moral psychology and free will. (My CV has the details.)
I regularly teach classes on critical thinking, ethics, metaphysics, and philosophy of science.
Before moving back to the Pacific Northwest in 2014, I spent six years at UC Riverside earning my PhD, and five years as an assistant professor at The College of William & Mary.
Outside of the ivory tower, I’m a beer judge, amateur photographer, and father.
