2019 NE-IBLM

Conference

Thank you for a wonderful conference!! Oct 19 2019, 9:30 AM - 5 PM at Eastern Connecticut State University

It was our pleasure to welcome 60 faculty from 32 institutions to our regional NE-IBLM conference. On October 19th 2019, the second annual community conference for the New England IBL in Mathematics Consortium (NE-IBLM) (web site at https://sites.google.com/view/ne-iblm) took place at Eastern Connecticut State University.

Special thanks to Megan Heenehan for hosting us at Eastern Connecticut State University!!

The following google drive folder makes documents from the conference available: pictures, slides, resources, etc.

Two important goals of the consortium are broadening the use of IBL in the New England area and creating a regional community of IBL practitioners. We will focus on these two goals in particular at this event.

This early time of NE-IBLM is a great opportunity for you to have a pivotal role in the future of the community, and to contribute in a meaningful and significant way to its development. We welcome participants of any background using IBLM as a pedagogical approach. We will continue our discussion about the role of IBL in inclusive learning, an important connection that is ripe for further exploration and research.

The conference took place at Eastern Connecticut State University, on October 19th from 9:30 AM - 5 PM. We put together a program to actively involve and engage all participants.
