Training Circle: Trauma-Informed Community Volunteering 9/12 & 9/26
Pre-registration is required.
Join us for a two-part training designed to help volunteers and community members build the skills needed to serve others with greater understanding, confidence, and compassion.
Led by Sarah Butlerwills of Retreat Home, this interactive training explores how trauma impacts behavior and relationships while providing practical tools to:
Have more effective and compassionate conversations
Recognize trauma responses and common triggers
Increase emotional and physical safety for those you serve
Deepen understanding across differences and life experiences
This training is valuable for anyone who serves their community, especially volunteers, program directors, and faith leaders involved with food banks, soup kitchens, meal programs, domestic abuse support, family separation, unhoused community members, and other community outreach efforts.
Friday, September 12
Friday, September 26
