The next meeting will be Monday, April 21 from 6:00 - 8:30 pm.
Enabling service, love and justice so that all can thrive.
In solidarity with affected communities, we are diverse people of faith and conscience who seek the justice, equity and collective liberation needed to create a flourishing world, beginning in NCW.
Interfaith Justice Coalition is made up of diverse voices of faith and conscience.
We come from a variety of backgrounds: Unitarian Universalist, Methodist, Lutheran, Episcopalian, Christian, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Buddhist, Brethren, as well as those not affiliated with a religion or faith community.
The Interfaith Justice Coalition was formed in summer 2023 to gather diverse faith communities in North Central WA to build relationship across difference and organize for justice. We advocate for tolerance, empathy, inclusion, nonviolence and open-minded acceptance of all people.
The work of the Coalition is guided by a rotating body of volunteers who serve as the Steering Committee. The Committee meets regularly to engage in both short- and long-term planning and to organize and support Circle gatherings, communications, action groups, and projects.
We offer a quarterly gathering as well as support for action groups and projects.
Quarterly Gatherings | Our gatherings are meetings and events rooted in action around shared values, they are not religious services. All who share our values are welcome to join us, regardless of whether you attend religious services or identify with a faith community.
Action Groups & Projects | Coalition participants create, lead, and engage with groups and projects that align with the shared values of the Coalition.
Look for us, and stand with us, at local events such as peace and justice demonstrations, Pride Day, climate marches, Interfaith Advocacy Day, town halls, etc.
