ABOUT THE INSTITUTION

Sri Krishna College of Technology is a pioneer in education instituted in the year 1985 by the V.L.B. Trust, a charitable organization founded by the great philanthropist and industrialist, late Sri.V.L.BalaKrishna Naidu. Late Sri.S.Vankatram, over two and half decades of tireless effort and guidance brought the college to its present preeminent position. The college has 7 UG courses and 6 PG courses approved by AICTE, New Delhi and the UG programmes are accredited by NBA. All the courses are affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. Housed in an area of 130 acres, the college campus is located at Kovaipudur, situated on the eastern laps of the Western Ghats, 10 Km from Coimbatore city. It is located in a hilly terrain with a serene and tranquil atmosphere and a salubrious climate

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Electrical and Electronics Engineering department was established as a full-fledged department in the year 2000. The department offers 4 – year UG programme with an intake of 180 and a 2-year P.G. course. The UG course is accredited by NBA. The department aims at the development of student community to face the future world with the latest technical knowledge through research, good leadership qualities, Industry – Institute interaction and spirit of competence. The department is endowed with dedicated team of faculty and state of the art laboratories with latest software’s. The department takes pride in students placed in core and multinational software companies
