Motivation

Because of losing the stereo visual perception and the precise direction to insert the surgical instrument is unknown, we study the methods to retrieve 3D information of the internal structures.

Advantages

• Acquiring the images more easily than CT or MRI
• The incisions are much smaller and the chance of wound infection is reduced
• Reducing the medical cost
