The combined annual training camp for NCC cadets, organized by 1 TN AIR SQN NCC Tambaram, was held from 12th to 21st June 2024 at Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. The camp, led by Commandant Thiagarajan J, had 440 cadets from 6 colleges and 9 schools, supported by ANOs, an aeromodelling instructor, and PI staff.

Twenty cadets from our institution participated in diverse training sessions, including physical training, drills, weapon training, and aeromodelling. They competed in various events such as drills, essay writing, drawing, speeches, and sports like cricket, kho-kho, and basketball, while also receiving fundamental field and defence training. Cultural events were held to highlight cadet talents, and awareness programs on dental hygiene, fire safety, and anti-drug rallies were conducted.

Sgt Kani organized the Agniveer Program Orientation from the Airmen Selection Centre. On 21st June, International Yoga Day was celebrated with various yoga poses. Our cadets earned two trophies: the boys' team won the kho-kho competition, and the girls' basketball team secured the second place.
