Predictify NBA ("Predictify", "we", "our", "us") is a basketball analytics and prediction application that uses statistical models and AI to generate game forecasts. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By creating an account or using the app, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Predictify NBA.

Information we collect
3.1 Information you provide directly
Account information: name, email address, profile photo (when signing in with Apple, Google, or email/password)
In-app preferences: favourite teams, followed divisions, language, notification preferences, AI consent state
User-generated content: predictions, prediction notes, community posts, chat messages with AI assistant, referral codes, display name
Support and feedback: any communication sent via email or support channels
3.2 Information collected automatically
Device information: device model, OS version, app version, language, timezone, install timestamp, session duration
Usage events: screens viewed, features used, taps, session length, prediction streaks, quiz attempts, engagement data
Diagnostic data: anonymised crash reports, performance traces, errors
Approximate location: city-level only, derived from device permission; processed on-device and not stored on servers
Identifiers: Firebase installation ID, push notification token, Apple or Google sign-in tokens when used
Advertising identifier: IDFA (iOS) or Advertising ID (Android), collected only with user consent and used only for marketing attribution
3.3 Information sent to AI
When using AI features such as predictions or chat:
Matchup data and public statistics are sent through backend servers to the AI provider (DeepSeek)
No personal information such as name, email, or location is sent
AI consent is requested during onboarding and can be revoked in app settings
How we use your information
We use your data to:
Provide prediction features using account data and preferences
Personalise content and notifications
Generate AI predictions using game data and statistics
Manage subscriptions and payments
Send notifications you opt into
Measure marketing effectiveness using advertising identifiers (with consent)
Fix bugs and improve app performance
Detect fraud or misuse
Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell personal data and do not use your data to train AI models.
Service providers and third parties
We share limited data with trusted providers:
Authentication and backend: Google Firebase, Supabase
Analytics: Microsoft Clarity, Firebase Analytics
Marketing attribution: AppsFlyer
Payments: Apple App Store, Google Play, Superwall, Stripe (for community subscriptions only)
Sports data providers: api-sports.io, NBA.com, ESPN (no personal data shared)
AI provider: DeepSeek (data sent through backend only, no personal identifiers)
Each provider operates under its own privacy policy.
Push notifications
If enabled, we send notifications about games, predictions, streaks, and community activity.
You can disable notifications via device settings or within the app.
Cookies (web only)
The web app uses:
Session cookies for login
Microsoft Clarity for anonymised analytics
No advertising or third-party tracking cookies
Children
The service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Minimum age is 16 in the EEA and UK.
Parental consent is required under 13 in the United States.

iOS users can manage tracking permissions in system settings.
