How do I choose an air conditioner?
When comparing aircon systems, think about the features you care about most. You can look for value, energy efficiency and noise levels and select the model that best matches your needs. Energy Star® qualified units, high SEER rated systems and multi-stage systems are all good indicators of air conditioners that will save energy and reduce your energy bills over time.
What are the ideal ways of using the air conditioner?
Freezing cold temperature is bad for health and a waste of electric power.
Install curtains or blinds so that it is possible to reduce heat entering the room through the windows.
Ventilation - Do not close the room for a long period of time. Occasionally open the door and windows to allow the entrance of fresh air.
Do not forget to clean the air filter as dusty air will reduce the air volume and cooling efficiency. Clean the air filter every 2 weeks.
Should I repair or replace my air conditioner?

How often should an air conditioner be serviced?
Aircon equipment, no matter what kind you have, should be inspected, cleaned, and serviced at least once a year. The best scenario is to have the cooling system checked in the January and the air conditioning checked in the July every year.
What does it mean to service an air conditioner?
If you will not do the regular aircon servicing then dirt and dust will get deposited in its filters. This deposition of dust and dirt in the filters affect its working and your air conditioning system will need to invest more efforts in its working.
How long does it take to service an air conditioner?
Aircon services normally takes about 30 minutes.
