An indoor and outdoor navigation app that provides precise localization and crowdsourced maps.

Our app combines GPS with your phone's camera and sensors to provide more precise localization, allowing you to navigate better than with GPS alone. Our app allows anyone to create and share maps, making this a scalable solution for communities to make maps that matter to their blind members.

We are seeking both blind and sighted volunteers to help test the app and help create indoor and outdoor maps.  Please use the button below to let us know if you are interested.

Testimonials From the Co-Designers that Helped Create the App

"[The app] solves the last 10 yards problem for blind navigation when GPS just can't finish the job.  My über gets me to my doctor's building, but [the app] gets me to to my doctor's office.  There's simply no other app that does what [this app] does when it comes to helping me navigate indoor spaces."

"The app is innovative in the indoor way-finding space as it puts the user in control as a map and route creator. Additionally, many indoor technologies do not centre the user as a co-designer which can lead to less effective implementations. The app is a great example of how blind/low vision users can contribute to map data accessibly to enhance indoor navigation."

"I am blind and have a mild brain injury, that further affects spacial recognition and orientation abilities. The navigation accuracy of the app makes it possible for me to find my way without the need for sighted assistance. Navigation of mapped environments, including outdoor navigation, would make my every-day life a lot easier. I really have appreciated the co-design programs, with the opportunities for co-work with the developers and group discussions with other app users."
