tag_hash_106With its hardy construction and intuitive design, the Navigator is a nifty audio tool that sits easily in pockets and bags. It will be your new partner in traversing fresh and familiar sonic landscapes, as well as a powerful companion while exploring new dimensions in your music and gear.

The deprecated Navigator.getUserMedia() method prompts the user for permission to use up to one video input device (such as a camera or shared screen) and up to one audio input device (such as a microphone) as the source for a MediaStream.

If permission is granted, a MediaStream whose video and/or audio tracks come from those devices is delivered to the specified success callback. If permission is denied, no compatible input devices exist, or any other error condition occurs, the error callback is executed with an object describing what went wrong. If the user instead doesn't make a choice at all, neither callback is executed.

Note: This is a legacy method. Please use the newer navigator.mediaDevices.getUserMedia() instead. While technically not deprecated, this old callback version is marked as such, since the specification strongly encourages using the newer promise returning version.

So, I am working on a small electron desktop app that captures desktop screen and records video and audio. When I am trying to add audio to the stream it starts echoing really badly and I am not sure why.

An interesting fact. When I go to Mozilla documentation page on audio constraints and use the demo button it gives me echo too. I tried doing it on Edge and the result was better, but still had echo. So can it be the audio codec?

The problem comes from attempting to initiate a single stream of your microphone audio and computer screen video at the same time. To fix this issue, you will need to create an audio stream first, then separately create a video stream that captures your computer screen, and finally, combine the streams into one.

A very late answer I know, but I was trying to understand your issue, because I'm currently dealing with echo cancelling issues via WebRTC in regards to desktop capturing and I was wondering why your initial approach (adding chromeMediaSource: 'desktop' as a mandatory constraint to video and audio) causes echo, because this is the correct usage, as described in the Electron docs. I don't think that post which is marked as the correct answer, really solves the problem. Instead the second answer is correct in this case. The problem is not related to the usage of the constraints / streams. The reason you are hearing echo is, that you are adding the captured audio to your speaker output implicitly again, by assigning it to the element. This creates the echoing loop. To avoid this, the correct solution is to mute the element like you did in your repo. I tried your code and recording works fine (also with the muted element), when re-enabling the code section which captures video/audio at once (via the constraint mentioned above).

D. REAR LOCK or SOURCE Press to lock the rear passenger audio controls and you can only access them from the front controls, or if equipped, press to access different audio modes, for example AM, FM and CD.

There is a bug in Firefox (tested with v67.0) where you can't have audio streams from two different microphones at the same time (reference: _bug.cgi?id=1238038). This seems to be what is causing your issue.

Experience unheard-of depth and detail in the Lincoln Aviator. For the Aviator Reserve, Grand Touring, Black Label and Black Label Grand Touring models you have the choice between one of two audio systems: The Revel Ultima 3D featuring QuantumLogic Surround 3D Sound Technology or the Revel Audio System with 14-Speakers.

Revel and Lincoln share a common legacy deeply rooted in precision craftsmanship. Engineers and designers from both brands worked closely from day one to truly replicate the Revel home audio experience in Lincoln vehicles. Everything from the trim to the door handle placement was considered and designed from the ground up to ensure sonic perfection, and a game-changing collaboration.

There are a few tweaks you can make to the audio, going beyond just basic treble and bass adjustments. You can disable the 3D audio altogether which gives you more of a typical stereo audio experience.

A simple device called the Navigator is revolutionising mission work in some of the remote and hardest-to-reach places on earth. Leading The Way has distributed more than 120,000 of these solar-powered audio Bibles in dozens of languages. For each device distributed, roughly 10 people have the opportunity to hear the gospel.

When you're choosing new car audio gear, the first step is to choose the gear that fits your car. The second step is to get it installed correctly. That's why we developed the Crutchfield KitFinder. With KitFinder, you'll be able to use our massive database to find and compare gear that will fit your specific vehicle. We'll also make sure you have the installation parts and instructions that make the job easier. Whether you're a first-time DIY-er or an experienced car audio pro, KitFinder takes the hassle and guesswork out of choosing and installing your new stereo and/or speakers.

If you were able to view the DTC's in the nav diagnostic menu and had comm failure with the SWC then the radio after the radio was swapped it was not programmed or not programmed proerly when replaced the same goes for having no audio if it's THX. It might also be the wrong radio, either misbuilt or their radio repair center sent them the wrong radio which is pretty common. The radio compatability list almost always has error and says MKX and Edge take the same radio

the speakers cutting out makes a difference if the MKX is equipped with THX. I honestly have only heard of this issue when the internal amplifier overheats due to to high of volume for a extended time, shorting speaker wire to ground or another speaker wire, or a shorted speaker coil. the other possiblity a plug in the vehicle (back of radio, THX amp, junction behind dash or kickpanel) might not be plugged in or inserted and locked. the nav units do have thermal protection for all of the speaker circuits, so the radio will shut down all of the audio outputs if the head unit goes into thermal mode including audio signal for subwoofer. if its THX there might be a communication fault code either in the diagnostic menu of the Nav or even if they do a network test with the VCM.

While the SWN already comes with a dozen wavetable spheres, it also provides two convenient methods of adding new spheres. You can either record a set of wavetables from an audio source, or you can use their free Sphere Edit software. If you create a sphere by recording from an audio source, you have a few options to customize it before you save it. You can audition the waveforms, change the spacing between the sampled waveforms, and apply effects like bit reduction and wave folding. Sphere Edit lets you draw waveforms from scratch, or you can start from a few template shapes and tailor them to your preferences.

As a more obvious lack of distinction between the Lincoln Navigator and Ford Expedition, the navigation head units are identical. Call it MyLincoln Touch or MyFord Touch, the interfaces are the same, organized around a quartered home screen showing navigation, audio, phone and climate controls. Touching any quarter of the home screen launches the relevant function, and within any specific function, such as navigation, tabs at each corner of the screen give access to the other main functions.

As a bid for more elegance, the Navigator includes a THX-branded audio with eight speakers. While I enjoyed the overall balance of the sound quality, the system wasn't up to the task of filling the large confines of the cabin with the majestic audio I would expect.

The first system of radio navigation was the Radio Direction Finder, or RDF.[3] By tuning in a radio station and then using a directional antenna, one could determine the direction to the broadcasting antenna. A second measurement using another station was then taken. Using triangulation, the two directions can be plotted on a map where their intersection reveals the location of the navigator. Commercial AM radio stations can be used for this task due to their long range and high power, but strings of low-power radio beacons were also set up specifically for this task, especially near airports and harbours.[citation needed] 2351a5e196
