I am a faculty member at the Faculty of Science, Mathematics and Computer Science, Informatics Institute the University of Amsterdam and Department of Biomedical Engineering and Physics, Amsterdam UMC, Amsterdam.
Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Amsterdam, I worked with Prof. Josien Pluim and Prof. Richard Lopata as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Eindhoven University of Technology, where I worked on deep learning based methods for precision imaging for medical applications. Specifically, I focused on developing advanced deep learning-based techniques for image processing and reconstruction, with a particular emphasis on ultrasound imaging and photoacoustic imaging.
I work in the broad field of inverse problems and computational methods for medical imaging and signal processing, which has important implications for the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions.
