Treacherous Turtle Adventures

“It's most certainly life or death in this situation. Our hero we all know and love, Turtle

Jeremy, has been tracked down by his arch-nemesis, Terry the Hawk.”

“Turtle Jeremy slowly trudges toward the end of the forest. He hears footsteps behind

him. This is as fast as he can run. By run, I mean walking very slowly. He-”

“This is boring.”

“He’s a turtle, what more did you expect?”

“Well, I expected a better story than that. It sounds boring and doesn’t have enough action or

drama.”

“Alright then, how about if Turtle Jeremy had the power of flight?”

“Oh! That sounds cool, continue”

“Ahem, Turtle Jeremy remembered that Terry knew he was a turtle, but not a super turtle!

Turtle Jeremy takes to the skies and flies back to his underwater lair.”

“Back home, Turtle Jeremy walks to his chair and opens his laptop. He pulls up a GPS

tracking the moves of his nemesis. It seems that after Turtle Jeremy left, Terry arrived. Terry

seemed to-”

“Wait. How does Turtle Jeremy have a GPS on Terry?”

“When Terry attacked Turtle Jeremy and had him almost in his talons, Turtle Jeremy

placed a device on Terry’s wing. But Turtle Jeremy escaped by biting Terry’s talon.”

“Ok. Continue.”

“Turtle Jeremy pulls up his GPS and screenshots it. He sends the screenshot to his watch

and heads to his closet. He opens the closet door and takes out a stick. With this-”

“Why does he need a stick? What’s he gonna do to Terry? Smack him?”

“Can’t you just wait? It’s gonna be explained soon!”

“Ugh fine.”

“Ahem. Turtle Jeremy pulls the stick out and closes the door to the closet. He opens his

cool garage door and take off into the sky!”

Later...“Turtle Jeremy flies hastily over to the city right by the edge of the forest with his

stick in his hand. He lands in the city and spots Terry the Hawk reeking havoc upon the citizens

nearby. When Jeremy moves closer it is revealed that Terry was robbing the owner of the bakery,

Katherine the Cat.”

“Turtle Jeremy pulls out the stick and points it at Terry.”

‘Terry!’ he says. ‘You will soon face justice!’ And Turtle Jeremy throws the stick at

Terry. But don’t worry! It was all a distraction for the real fight. After Terry scoffs and flies over

to Turtle Jeremy, Turtle Jeremy pulls out a weighted net! He throws it over Terry and soon our

hero is victorious!

“That story was pretty good. Do you really think you can win the contest? They have so

many people!”

“Yeah. I think I can.”
