Jade Memories

Red invaded jade through the vines and leaves. Its crimson haze latched onto its beauty and grace. The time had come, tears streamed down her face.
Boarding fragile boats, like leaves in the storm, Though life lay ahead, her feelings were torn.
Her jade memories, drifted in the scarlet tides, floating away Currents of despair pleaded with her to stay.
Though she seemed so far from the green that was once home, Red seemed to follow her, its grasp wouldn’t leave her alone. It was a sickness, a disease, it suffocated and controlled, Taking form it was pirates who violated and took her hold.
Separation struck, lightning in the night,
From her beloved, torn apart in their desperate plight, Fear engulfed her heart, in the boat's dim glow The last glimpse of him faded into the endless cold.
A flicker, a flame,
Amidst the chaos, resilience still bloomed.
Through waves of anguish, her strength consumed, A survivor's spirit, a glimmer in her eyes,
She clung to hope, beneath the scarlet skies.
Refugee camps embraced her, a sanctuary so frail. Her spirit persevered, it refused to fail.
In the face of adversity, she forged her way,
Building a future from the charcoal ashes, day by day.
Jade's memory lingered, a symbol of a treasured past, Her mind danced upon a land once vibrant,
Before the shadows were cast.
But within her, the spirit of jade burned bright,
A testament to courage, an unyielding light.
Shared is her journey,
And despite the unending rain,
Their spirit remains unbroken, defying the pain. Let us honor their unwavering might,
Their scars, their triumphs, and their resolute fight, For within their stories, their resilience shall prevail, As jade's essence endures, beyond crimson's veil.
