YSP TRAVEL GRANT
The North America Taiwanese Professors Association (NATPA) Young Scholars Program is currently accepting applications for travel support to attend the 2022 NATPA Annual Conference. Travel support includes:
Conference registration
Airfare (per person) or mileage reimbursement (per car) up to $500
Room for up to 3 nights (7/22, 7/23, 7/24) shared by two
Meals during the conference
Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants must be Taiwanese or Taiwanese American graduate students, recent graduates, or postdoctoral scholars. Award recipients are required to give a presentation in the Young Scholars session scheduled for the conference. Subject to the total support request, NATPA plans to award twenty or more applications this year. Selection will be based on the applicants’ qualifications, evidence of active community involvement, and the proposed topic for presentation. Priority will be given to presentations on applied research in science, technology, culture, education, social study, economics, or political science related to current issues in Taiwan or sustainable development of Taiwan.
