PREDECESSORS AND SHORT HISTORY: The founder of the family was Thakore Saheb shri Lakhaji Jijibawa Gohil, 16th Thakore Saheb of Lathi, who had three sons by his second wife, and who were granted the estate of Ingorala. They were able to wrest control of Limbda and four neighbouring villages from their Kathi rulers.
