PREDECESSORS AND SHORT HISTORY: Also known as Kankrauli, the family is descended from HH Maharana Bhim Singhji of Udaipur. The family migrated to Tonk in the early 1930's and at present most of the members are residing in Jaipur, Tonk and Sawai Madhopur. Estate holders were .....

1. Rawal MADHO SINGH, 1st Thakur Saheb of Kakroli, he was granted Chattri at the village of Aahid near Mawli in District Udaipur, married and had issue.

2. Thakur KARAN SINGH, 2nd Thakur Saheb of Kakroli, he completed his medical graduation from Cambridge College, England, and afterwards he became the Chief Medical Officer in the state of Mewar under the Maharana of Udaipur, he later transferred to Tonk and received the same post.

3. Thakur PREM SINGH, 3rd Thakur Saheb of Kakroli, he also completed his medical graduation from Cambridge College, England and afterwards he became the Chief Medical Officer under the Nawab of Tonk; married Thakurani (name unknown) of Thikana Sheopur (now in M.P.) near Sawai Madhopur, and had issue, ten sons (three sons died in their early childhood).

4. Thakur BRIJ BAHADUR SINGH, 4th Thakur Saheb of Kakroli, he shifted to Sawai Madhopur and was granted the title of Rajya Pramukh by the last Thakur Saheb of Thikana Siwad of Jaipur; married Thakurani Shanti Devi of Mainpuri, and had issue.

   • Kunwar Kamal Singh Ranawat, he shifted his family to Jaipur; married 1stly, Kunwarani Indira Kumari Chauhan of Daulatpuri (District-Mainpuri), married 2ndly, 1994, Kunwarani Usha Kumari of Gondal, and had issue (by 1st wife). He died vp in September 2003 at S.M.S. Hospital Jaipur.
