born as Rajkumar Gajendrapal Singh, second son of HH Raja Dilip Singhji of Jhabua, he succeed by adoption, educated at Daly College, Indore; he was adopted 15th July 1946, by the two surviving widows (Thakurani Rasik Kuwar and Thakurani Subdhara Kumari) of the late Thakur Narayan Singhji of Jhaknaoda; married Rajkumari Somlata Kumari, born 2nd April 1943, daughter of Rana Ran Bahadur Singh Jandaive of Balsan, and his second wife, Rani Vidya Kumari, and has issue, one daughter.
Rajkumari Chandrika Kumari, married January 1991 (div. 1992), Yuvaraj Shri Manvendrasinhji Raghubirsinhji Sahib of Rajpipla.

Thakur NARAYAN SINGHJI, Thakur of Jhaknaoda -/1945, born in or about 1910, educated at Daly College, Indore; married 1stly, Thakurani Gopal Kuwar of Amargarh, married 2ndly, Thakurani Gauri Kumari, she died about 1936, daughter of Kuwar Vijay Singhji Dodiya of Piploda, married 3rdly, Thakurani Rasik Kuwar from Madhopur, married 4thly, Thakurani Subdhara Kumari, another daughter of Kuwar Vijay Singhji Dodiya of Piploda, and had issue, one daughter as well as adoptive issue.
