Raja PRADYUMAN SHAH 1786/1804, married (amongst others), (a) Rani Mandaraliji [Kumaoni Rani] of Kumaon, married (b), daughter of Mian Ajab Singh of Guler, and had issue, as well as issue by concubines. He died January 1804 (22 Magh 1860) in the battle against the Gurkhas at Khurbura in Dehradun.
Raja SUDARSHAN SHAH (by Rani Mandaraliji), recieved only a part of the ancestral lands from the British after they driven out the Nepali forces in 1815, he made his capital at Tehri and was the first Raja of Tehri-Garhwal.
